Metacognition
Metacognition means “learning to learn”. By applying it, we support our pupils to think about their own learning by teaching them specific strategies for planning, tacking and evaluating how much and how well they have learned.
We teach our pupils to practice four key approaches to managing challenging circumstances within school and in their life outside of school, maximising their chances of succeeding once they leave us.
