Facilities hire
Beaumont Hill Academy is based in the EVAT main site on Salters Lane, Darlington. The site was built and opened in 2006 and boasts some of the best facilities in the north east of England.
Our teaching and community spaces include:
- Large performance hall with separate dance and drama studios
- Interactive Whiteboard and wireless access
- Large learning resource centre with library and independent learning areas
- 25M swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool
- Village green for external performance and events
- Large sports hall with eight external pitches (including a 3G pitch), multi-use games area and a changing village
- Interactive and music therapy rooms with support bases for visiting therapists
- Sacred space to promote multi-faith development and allow for quiet reflection
Our site is covered by internal and external CCTV and secure access control points are also installed throughout the building.
We support over 60 hours of community use before and after school and a wide range of parental engagement and family learning opportunities.
